Travelling to Ashe with teens

I am hoping this isn't off topic for this forum. If it is, chastise me strongly and then point me in the right direction. :)

I travel up that way alot here lately and will be in town for Halloween weekend. Is there something/anything fun going on during Halloween Weekend. I will have all young teens with me, but all of them are into EVERYTHING. Crafts, hooping, dance, whatever. Love to show them a fire show if anyone is performing.

I'm also looking for nightly house rentals (not a hostel please) for when I come up for yoga teacher trainings. I have several more modules in my program coming up and haven't made lodging arrangements yet. I am hoping to stay as close to Greenlife as possible.

Thanks to all of you in advance.

Namaste'

Does anyone want to go up north with me this month! I am driving up to the NYC/Boston area, and will be there from the 10th to the 20th. I'm kinda flexible on this, am happy to pick people up en route, or perhaps even go a little out of my way to come and get you (within reason). I'm even happy to only take you one way if'n that what you need.

Obviously I would like to meet you (if I don't know you already....I would prefer if I did but...) before we went a traveling to work things out.

Hey, I'm planning a trip to Asheville soon and (yeah, this is morbid), want to see the hospital Zelda Fitzgerald passed her last years in.
A search shows the place has been turned into a shopping mall on Zillicoa Street.
Anyone have more info? Anyone interested in a commemorative drink over Labor Day weekend? Or know any other Fitzgerald sites in town you can recommend? I know somewhere near downtown there was a flat Scott rented while he was visiting... anyone know where it is? Thanks!

anyone have kefir grains to share?

Hey kids,

I'd been living down in the lowlands and my kefir grains died a horrible death this spring when it got super hot there, as did those of all my neighbors who tried to keep kefir going in the heat in our non-air-conditioned, non-basement-having houses. Does anyone here in Asheville have a few extra grains to share?

I'll trade you for either some red cabbage kraut or some homemade half-sour pickles.
Mark

Just curious to know...for now.

Room for Rent in West, west asheville

Live with a fire performance artist, burlesque star, a DJ and a dancer/jugglers. Mostly quiet old farmhouse built in 1920 with 2900 square feet. Artistic, laid back and open minded environment. We have a large living room with fireplace, a music room/art space, porches, decks, 15 miles of trails behind the house and oh yeah, a working hot tub. Counting you, there would be four of us here but plenty of space to move around. We have washer and dryer, large kitchen, bit of garden space if you like, high speed wireless internet, We are all very laid back, neat, but not freaks about it. The house is not in pristine condition but getting there, Views, (at least in the winter) The room I have available is the smallest, but you have your own air conditioning unit and beautiful old wood walls and ceilings. Out your window, you see only green, We are secluded yet only 7 minutes from the westville pub. Smokers preferred as we allow smoking only upstairs and only if you are working on something and don't wish to stop, No dogs, we already have two well behaved ones. Cats can be considered but they must play well with others and be regularly treated for fleas. YOu are expected to help keep the common areas free of debis and we have a easy chore chart that is switched every month. Nothing big, just helping out to keep the place looking neat. 1/4 of utilities runs around 75 a month and we usually fill up the heating oil tank a couple times in the winter split four ways. You have the option of moving to one of the bigger rooms if someone decides to move out.. Again, you must be open minded.. Other interest in the house include visual art, performance, magic (as in magician) guitars and drums though the drums are not banged on enough to bother the average person. Most of us here have demanding and busy lives and won't be home a great deal and when we are home, like it to be drama and stress free. Room is available August 1.

Okay, here is how you get it. Call me at 828-335-3567 Leave me your name and number and tell us about yourself. If we like what we hear we will call you back to come look at it and sit down and chat a minute then let you know while you let us know. Cool? I am hitting the woods for a few days tomorrow but go ahead and leave messages and I'll get back to you. Looking forward to meeting you, new roomie. No deposit, no lease. All I ask for is one month's notice when you leave.

Hey everyone!

Sure, we have well over 300 things already packed to give away at the Costume Camp, but check this out: If just half of this year's Mysterians would bring just one burntastic item of clothing (or accessory) to donate to the cause, we'd triple the size of our community wardrobe!! There's probably something that you don't really wear anymore but are keeping because it was once your favorite. Give it a new lease on life and let it become someone else's fav (and come adopt a new fashion BFF while you're there)! We'll be in Elysian Fields right next to the bridge by the upper lake.

Hi again, last year posted all over tons of forums and was able to ride people out and back from Atlanta.. This year I need a ride :) Living in Asheville, NC, able to drive nearby to find other folks who can offer me a ride but my van is ill-equipped to make the trek to the playa again! Easy going, laid back, blah blah blah- can tell you all about myself in an email (or in the 5,000 miles we drive). Can split gas so long as there are 3 or 4 of us and we aren't in a Hummer or other gas-guzzler (exceptions made for School Buses and such with lots of people cutting the costs :).

Would also LOVE to help out on any projects you may have for the playa- am crafty :)

Let me know!

peace. love. burn.

I have A LOT of funky jewelry to sell. Most if it my mother and I made- I was going to hold into it but I am trying to make money to fund my cross country trip. I have over 100 different pieces, ranging from antique to stone to wood. Prices range from 2 dollars to 20 dollars. I have all colors and sizes. Also, I have a HUGE bead collection that I am organizing in hopes to sell as well. Please, feel free to stop by and take it look! I literally have thousands of beads to choose from and my prices are very affordable, ranging from 50 cents to 3 dollars a bag. I will be home cleaning all day and would love for you to stop by and take a look at what I have. My cell is 401 524 8534

Where to buy kegs?

I need to purchase a keg of Yuengling. In FL we can buy them at liquor stores and at some convenience stores. I know some bars here sell kegs but do they offer the best deals? Are there other sources?

Appreciate any advise. :)

New to asheville, and poi spinning-- Any good teachers out there?

Hey there,
I just started learning to spin poi, and was wondering if there may be a person or group that would take me in and teach me this beautiful art. I'm a very dedicated learner, and this is something that I want to be a big part of my life. If there is someone who would possibly take me on as basically my mentor, I think we could definitely mutually benefit each others' lives.

Thanks so much, and I hope to hear from you!

French Broad Food Coop Arts and Farms market. Looking for Artists

Hello my name Kathleen and I am in charge of finding Artists, Musicians and entertainers for our little market located across from the Orange Peel next to the Food Co-Op on Biltmore Avenue. I would love tribal drummers, Singers, Bands, Tribal/belly dancers and if you grow veggies we want you too!

I can not offer cash for your services as a musician or dancer. What we can do is promote the heck out of you. You can sell t-shirts, CD's, and bus for tips. We are open every Saturday from 8-2 pm ( I don't expect entertainment through that whole time.) I can say that As the Art director I want diversity in entertainment , I want to see all of Asheville represented and if you come lend us your sound, your dance and your time you will be helping small farmers who are trying to make it in tough times.

As to the artists ( painters, sculptors, metal smiths, fiber artists and more I have not listed) If you want to be my featured guest artisan one Saturday I will give you a free space and advertise your appearance. If you choose to be a re-occurring artist we have a fee. You will need your own display set up and some sort of e-z up or sunshade. Thank you all for your time and I hope to see some people from our whole community.

New bellydance classes start April 22

New Class starts in Asheville on April 22
April 22- May 27 (6 week series)
$10 drop in or $50 for the entire 6 weeks....a bargain!!

An all-levels, drills, isolation and conditioning class. So many of us dancers know that we should practice at home but we just don't know where to start. That is where this class comes in. In it, I will guide you through all the basic, must-know movements and drill them till it burns, also we will work on individual muscle areas, learning to isolate one area at a time. In addition to that, I will lead you in some conditioning exercises (I hate that word) geared towards areas of the body that, as a bellydancer, need to be strong and healthy. Along the way I will share some tips and tricks that will help you in performance such as stage presence, facial expressions, posture and so on.

Newly remodeled bedroom and private bath for rent. $450 includes wi-fi, and utilities. Artist/Craftsperson studio space sharing is a possibility, in fact I'd like to share the house with this type of person. Young child on premises part time, hoping to occasionally trade late night child care (just being there while child sleeps) for discounted rent. Beautiful new clean kitchen/DW/WD. Basement storage. Back deck and back yard outside of room w large BBQ Grill, fire pit and raised garden bed for your use. Great for summer parties. I also have chickens and rent includes all the eggs you can eat. I am a liberal/creative type person, I like music, good people and good times, your friends are welcome here, but I'm also a professional/responsible adult that works during the day/week. I don't mind drinking but I will not tolerate alcoholics/addicts, smoking in the house or heavy smoking outside. 4 minute drive to downtown, conveniently close to Merrimon ave. Riverside Dr. and I26.

There's still room in our one day Shamanic Breathwork (tm) workshop, Saturday, February 28, facilitated by Ruby Falconer at Isis Cove.

Hey Asheville! This Sunday is supposed to be a gorgeous day (temp. in the 60's). I thought it would be great if as many of us as possible could get together at the French Broad River Park and hoop it up from around 3ishpm - 5ishpm. There's a huge meadow in between the paths right across from the dog park and my roommate and I have hooped there a few times. It's also an opportunity to give the dog owners something to look at besides their dogs. Please post if you plan to attend. I hope to see you all there!!
There will be extra hoops and music! Come play!

Does anyone have experience with membership in one the local CSA's I've link to below? I know of three in my area, Flying Cloud Farm, Cane Creek Asparagus & Company, and Cane Creek Organics. Specifically, I wondered if you are happy with their weekly bounty.

Flying Cloud doesn't offer 1/2 shares (as far as I can tell), and 1 box p/week might be too much for 2 people. Full share, (21 weeks) is $500.
Cane Creek Asparagus prices 1/2 shares @ $45 p/week
Cane Creek Organics prices 1/2 shares @ $34 p/week

Need to find an Experienced Hair Sylist

Beauty Parade: Tried it. My stylist quit. I was assigned to someone named "Blue" who was new and put the highlights on too thick and left on too long. After a day I went back and complained and

Chiaveras: Tried it next. She got pregnant and left so I did too. She never would put grey/silver highlights in to help me transition from brown-with-blonde-highlights to brown with some grey. Couldn't style her own cut. Even Chuck couldn't figure out the 'look' after she styled it one time.

Third try, local salon: Owner lost my color card and the 'new' mix was not even close. She did discount thafter a ye next visit. Insisted on putting layers in after my telling her at the beginning of each cut that I didn't want layers. Got only two cuts right over the last year and she never could style her own cut. I either styled it myself or couldn't wait to get home to wash it and do the do myself. I'm WAY too (something) to deal with that combover thing with hair falling in my face all the time.

My hair is really not that difficult. It's thick, heavy, naturally curly, brown and I'm going grey. A few silver highlights help the transition process and brighten my hair. I'm growing out leftover base color and highlights. I like to pull my hair back sometimes so I need a cut that will leave the front, sides and back long enough.

Been using Paul Mitchell products, 'Super Skinny' with 'Modern Elixirs'. 'Super Skinny' is THE BEST smoothing product I have ever used.

My hair is way overdue because I find it stressful to go through this process of finding a new stylist. I want an educated, experienced, upscale, color specialist, someone who is doing this because they want to and they're good at it, not because they have to.

Suggestions appreciated.

BUSH'S RESIGNATION SPEECH

BUSH'S RESIGNATION SPEECH
The following 'speech' was written recently by an ordinary 'Maine'-iac (a resident of the People's Republic of Maine). While satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. This is an excellent piece by a person who does not write for a living.

The resignation speech George W. Bush should give:
Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans'. Not doing it this time... If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit...! Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you. There's been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.

The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people. I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out. Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media.

Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.

We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this 'blood for oil' crap. If I were trading blood for oil, I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don't give me this 'Bush Lied... People Died' crap either. If I were the liar, you morons take me for, I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.

Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named 'Clinton' established that policy. Bet you didn't know that, did you?
Now some of you morons want to be led by a junior senator with no understanding of foreign policy or economics, and this nitwit says we should attack Pakistan, a nuclear ally. And then he wants to go to Iran and make peace with a terrorist who says he's going to destroy us. While he's doing that, he wants to give Iraq to al Qaeda, Afghanistan to the Taliban, Israel to the Palestinians, and your money to the IRS so the government can give welfare to illegal aliens, who he will make into citizens, so they can vote to re-elect him. He also thinks we just need to sit down and talk to Iran and things would be better (what the hell do you think we have been doing behind the scenes), and we should stop our foreign aid to Israel. Did you sleep through high school or what?

You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend and out-tech them.

That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you, and the bastards are all over the globe.

You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'

Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.

Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, dang it, you might just as well Fed Ex a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.

In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol or Dancing with the Stars.
I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.

I could say more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.

So I quit...! I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient for years. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.

Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too... That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.
So that's it. God bless what's left of America. Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you, kiss off.
George W......

PS - You might want to start learning Farsi, and buy a Koran. Obama already has his copy.

Join us this Saturday 11/22 @ BoBo Gallery for a very special
performance by Soul Society.
These cats are some seriously great musicians. The Soul Society uses a
wide array of instruments and vocals to hit you in the mind and the hip.
Their sounds range from jazzy drum and bass to deep funk percussive jams
interlaced with spoken messages. All around good shit !!

Earthtone will follow up promptly with dance floor action.

We are thrilled to jam with B-love, Kuumba, Dan, Jason, Austin, and David

Person to take some pictures of my Art needed ASAP!

Howdy Y'all,

I'm on the market for some real nice and professional looking digital images of my work. I could do it myself if they were wall pieces, but I'm afraid that my current work, being drawing on fabric, are far out of my range of photographing expertise. As such, I'm willing to support the concept of distribution of labor, and would like to find someone who feels capable and willing. I am willing to barter with you, or pay you, whatever needs to happen (but I am a student, so I am looking for something reasonable, it's only a few peices at this point).

Message me or reply up here if you're interested, or have info or questions for me!

Thank you!

Author Event tonight - Monday night.

Hello Soul Friends,

I just wanted to send you a personal invitation this evening to join me in
Asheville at Malaprops bookstore for a celebration, discussion, reading and
journey with the Anubis Oracle Book and Deck! Refreshments begin at 6:30 and
the actual event is from 7 -8pm.

I am very excited to share Anubis with you at a deeper level and also just
to see your shining faces and spirits this evening as we stand on the
threshold of another doorway of major change for our planet. I can't think
of a better time then now to invoke the spirit of Anubis to walk us through
the doorway to the future and remind us that WE ARE THE ONES WE HAVE BEEN
WAITING FOR! So please come and join me tonight as we invoke the memory of
who we really are from deep within our own DNA and embody the spirit of
Anubis , the Great Heart Shaman who leads the way to keeping our hearts open
and courageous.

This is the second book, along with my co author Nicki Scully that I have
published in two years. I am also working diligently on my next book, The
Shamanic Breathwork Journey to be released next year, but tonight the focus
is on Anubis and his oracle deck.

Nicki and I worked together night and day for two months last winter to
birth this amazing divination book and deck. It really represents the heart
and soul and principles of the work we have been offering through our
programs at Venus Rising for more than 12 years. Initially it was a
surprise to find that the spirit of Anbuis has been one of the main guiding
forces behind many of our teachings. However, the more I have gotten
acquainted with the heart and soul of Anubis and the powerful archetypal
presence he represents, I understand that he is the original wolf, the way
shower, the opener of the way , as he is called in ancient shamanic Egypt!!!
Certainly the Shamanic Breathwork and all the work we do at Venus Rising is
both eye opening and door opening on many different levels for all those we
serve.

I look forward to seeing you once again this evening in Asheville. Please
call if you need directions or have any questions.

In Love and Shamanic Consciousness,

This coming Thursday, October 2nd, I'm doing a choreographed glow poi & hoop performance at Warren Wilson College with Melmac of Asheville Hoops.

We're looking for someone who could video tape it and then give us a digital version. Our performance is only about 9 minutes, as it is part of a larger show...so you wouldn't have to be there very long at all.

any takers?

I'll get ya a nice bottle o wine! :)

Seems that there's gonna be a contingent of people with glow toys dancin at the drum circle this coming Friday.

So, come one come all! Bring your glow toys (poi, staff, hoop etc) for some spin jam action! The more the merrier!! It'd be sweet if we had a bunch of glow peeps spinnin out there. Too bad we can't have an all out fire fest, but glow is still awesome!

Get your glow on at the drum circle, then head to WACK at Bobos!

~peace~
ASHEVILLE ALTERNATIVE FITNESS DUO CONCLUDES
“CONSCIOUS MOVEMENT ACROSS AMERICA” TOUR IN HOMETOWN

Weeklong Wellness Extravaganza Helps Relieve Stress, Heal Communities

Free Wellness Walk Aug. 30 Shares Health Benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong

Asheville residents Michael Clark and Accem Scott are best known for their “Conscious Movement” cable television series on URTV (Charter cable channel 20) and for sharing “meditation in motion” with hundreds of local people by hosting celebrations of World Tai Chi & Qigong Day. Now they return to their hometown for the climax of Conscious Movement Across America, a four-city tour that offers a weeklong series of wellness events, many of them for free.

“We decided to end our tour with a big homecoming that offers something for everyone,” said certified teacher Michael Clark, founder of Heaven and Earth Tai Chi, “The whole week will be jam-packed with events. From free lectures and walks to mind-body fitness workshops and a screening of our TV show “The Best of Conscious Movement.” URTV has declared Aug. 24-31 “Conscious Movement Week” and will broadcast the series every evening from 10-11 p.m. Mission Hospitals even asked us to put on a stress-reduction workshop for employees.”
Asheville-area residents will be able to sample for free the once closely guarded Chinese health secrets of Tai Chi and Qigong (pronounced “chee gung”) at a Free Wellness Walk Saturday, Aug. 30, 10 a.m. – 12 noon, from City-County Plaza downtown (College St. & Spruce St.) to Montford Park. Participants will enjoy a leisurely walk combined with mini-classes in moving meditation and fun ways to take care of themselves.

“This walk is a real homecoming for us,” said Accem Scott, an African-American martial artist and naturopath, author of the American Barefoot Doctor’s Manual, “Montford Park is where we held the first Conscious Movement Day in 2004.”

Asheville is host to one of four such walks across the country as part of Conscious Movement Across America, a grass-roots approach to self-healing and healing our communities, founded by Clark and Scott. Conscious Movement Across America aims to bring health, wellness and fellowship to all Americans across racial, economic and religious boundaries. The Free Wellness Walks and accompanying workshops teach folks how to relieve stress and stimulate their body’s internal medicine through mind-body techniques like Tai Chi and Qigong.

Clark and Scott are a bi-racial teaching team with more than 30 years of combined experience. “We want to reach out to all ethnic groups, which is why we included a free workshop at Shiloh Community Center that serves many African-Americans,” said Scott, “Michael and I call ourselves ‘Tao Brothers,’ because it reflects our mission of teaching people mind-body harmony and racial harmony. We believe that as people heal themselves, they'll be able to begin healing our planet. This is the kind of world we want to live in, and we believe others do, too.”

Tai Chi and Qigong are low-impact health exercises that coordinate breath, movement and meditation. Western science supports these mind-body arts as complementary medicine, recognizing their key benefits like relieving stress, improving balance, boosting the immune system and enhancing mental focus.

For more information, contact Tao Brothers: www.tao-brothers.com, taobrothers@gmail.com, phone: (828) 280-7287

------- Okay everyone.. Here is a good chance to get out there and hoop or dance - in the street! - in a parade. I know these guys. They invited me to come hoop. they mentioned bellydance on the radio..
10 a.m. – 12 noon, from City-County Plaza downtown (College St. & Spruce St.) to Montford Park!
Get out there and MOVE! All are invited.

Hello!!!! OK so me and my best friend Jodie are visiting Asheville this weekend, and b/c we are insufferable and trying to be economical, we are probably going to couchsurf on Friday/Saturday (houses still TBD). Then we are staying in a hostel on Sunday.

SO we are looking for cool stuff to do in Asheville OTHER than the street fest, and were wondering if anyone had cool suggestions.

We're not mainstream ppl, and we love interesting/quirky stuff.

Any ideas?

We're going to hit the road 8am tomorrow - if you have ideas, call me at 407-473-2286. It's a LOOOOONG drive, so we will be available to talk. :o) Thank you!!!!!!!!

Room for Rent in West, west asheville

The Pirate Cove has a room open again due to the last tenant leaving abruptly and without notice or settling up. In six years of renting rooms out to all types of artist and musicians I have never had anyone screw me out of a dollar until now. Well, I am still not charging a deposit or making you sign a lease. So if you need a room we are located in west west asheville (spivey Mounatin area) we have decks, hot tubs, trails etc. Rent is $325 a month plus i/4 of utilities. You must be laid back, open minded and truthful. Dishonest people suck and ruin the good times for us all. Give me a call at 828-335-3567.

i know you peeps are good peeps, i'm from there, and know many of you...
please help in any ways that you can.
contact me directly in a PM, please, as i only joined this tribe to post this topic and am leaving now.
Blessed Be Beloveds!

here is his post:

my dog gandolph,

http://www. myspace. com/298055506

is still missing in action in asheville, north carolina. if you are in asheville, or know or have any "friends" in or around that area -NC, SC, TN, GA please forward this info to them. he was last seen on 6-17 wearing his collar. he is a 75 lb. great dane/greyhound/shephard mix with a scar on his leg from a recent surgery. he is tan with brindle markings. big, beautiful, and graceful; friendly, but quite possibly skittish. it is quite likley at this point that somebody has taken him in. keep your ears and eyes peeled. sooner or later he might turn up. he is the love of my life, and I am dying inside.

thank you for everyone who has already offered suggestions and help.

I am eternally grateful.

love always...paul

Hi Tribe.

I am heading back to town for a week and me and my girl need a place to stay. Just a bed and access to cooking, preferebly near town as we don't have vehicle. We are here to celebrate my boys graduation and visit old friends. I am excited to show my lady the finer points of Asheville as it's her first time visiting.

We are comming with greetings and goddies from Teneriffe Spain.

Would love to hear from anyone who has the space to let hang out.

Hey there, we are one blacksmith, one woodworker, and one potter heading from the Nashville area down to Flipside- a five day burning man regional- in Austin, TX with corsets, kombucha, and top hats in hand... and....

We've got an extra ticket!
And two extra spots in the car!

If you're already going and want to carpool, or want to go and need a ticket and a ride, we've got 'em both. Looking for people to share gas money with both *there and back.* Leaving this Wednesday (the 21st) and back the following Tuesday. You can either meet us in Smithville (where we live), Nashville, or somewhere on the way.

Tickets this rare and a ride this hoppin' are a good find indeed!
Give us a hollar at svbfels@gmail.com

Cheers,
